Wars in which Türkiye participated

Turkey has participated in many wars throughout history. Here are some important battles:

1. World War I (1914-1918): Turkey joined the war as the Ottoman Empire. As a result of this war, the borders of the Ottoman Empire changed significantly.

2. Turkish War of Independence (1919-1922): This war, led by Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Turkey, is an important turning point in which Turkey gained its independence.

3. Second World War (1939-1945): Turkey participated in this war neutrally. However, it made a limited military intervention against Germany in the last periods of the war.
