Cyprus Political parties

There are various political parties in Cyprus. The most influential political parties in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) are:

1. National Unity Party (UBP): It is one of the largest and oldest political parties in TRNC. It is known as a centre-right party and generally advocates nationalist and conservative policies.

2. Republican Turkish Party (CTP): It is known as a centre-left party in TRNC. He advocates social democratic policies and generally adopts a solution-oriented approach to the Cyprus problem.

3. Democratic Party (DP): It is the other major political party in TRNC. It is known as a centre-right party and generally advocates liberal and conservative policies.

4. People's Party (HP): It is one of the other important political parties in TRNC. It is known as a centre-left party and generally advocates social democratic policies.

5. Rebirth Party (YDP): It is a newly established political party in TRNC. He advocates nationalist and right-wing policies and generally takes a tougher approach on Cyprus. Apart from these parties, there are also smaller political parties in Cyprus. These include parties such as the Socialist Liberation Party (TKP), Freedom and Reform Party (ÖRP) and Independents Group.
