Libya Wars in which it took part

Libya has participated in various civil wars and conflicts in recent years. Here are the main wars in which Libya participated:

1. Libyan Civil War (2011): As a result of the rebellion movement against the rule of Muammar Gaddafi, many countries intervened in Libya under the leadership of NATO. As a result of this civil war, the Gaddafi regime was overthrown and a period of instability began in the country.

2. Libyan Civil War (2014-2020): As a result of the conflicts that broke out in 2014, two parallel governments were formed. the House of Representatives based in Tobruk and the Government of National Accord based in Tripoli. These conflicts turned into a long-lasting civil war with the intervention of international actors. Countries such as Russia, Turkey, Egypt and the United Arab Emirates took an active part in this war.

3. Syrian Civil War (2011-present): Libya was also involved in the Syrian Civil War. In particular, the Libyan Government of National Accord, supported by Turkey, provided military aid and consultancy to various groups in Syria.

4. Conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa: Libya has been involved in various conflicts in Sub-Saharan Africa. It particularly supported rebel groups in countries such as Niger, Mali and Chad. These wars deeply affected Libya's internal politics and dragged the country into instability. Libya is still struggling with the effects of civil war.
