Wars in which Lebanon participated

Lebanon is a country that has participated in many wars throughout history. Here are some important wars in which Lebanon participated:

1. World War II (1939-1945): Lebanon participated in the war with the French, as it was under French control at that time as the French Mandate for Syria. In Lebanon, many Lebanese also served in the French Army.

2. 1948 Arab-Israeli War: Lebanon also joined the war that broke out between Arab countries and Israel after Israel declared its independence. Lebanon was among the countries that participated in the war as a member of the Arab League.

3. 1956 Suez Crisis: Lebanon also participated in the crisis that broke out when Israel, England and France opposed Egypt's control of the Suez Canal. Lebanon fought against Israel together with Arab countries.

4. 1975-1990 Lebanese Civil War: Lebanese groups and foreign powers were also involved in the Lebanese Civil War, which was one of the longest and bloodiest wars in Lebanon's history. The war started as a result of conflicts between people belonging to different sects and political groups in Lebanon.

5. 2006 Lebanon War: Lebanon was also involved in the war between Israel and Hezbollah. Israel launched airstrikes on Lebanon after Hezbollah launched attacks on Israel from Lebanon. The war lasted 34 days and caused great destruction.
