The greatest events in Venezuelan History

There have been many important events in the history of Venezuela. Here are some of the biggest events in Venezuelan history:

1. Venezuelan Independence (1811): On April 19, 1810, Venezuela declared its independence from Spain. This led to the independence movements of other Spanish colonies in South America, such as Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia.

2. Simón Bolívar's leadership (1813-1830): Simón Bolívar was a leading figure in the struggle for independence in South America. In 1819, Colombia founded the Republic of Grand Colombia, which included Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia. In 1825, Venezuela separated from Colombia and became an independent republic.

3. Nationalization of the Venezuelan Oil Industry (1976): In 1976, the Venezuelan government nationalized the oil industry and established Petróleos de Venezuela S.A. He founded the state company (PDVSA). This allowed the country to maintain control of its oil resources and made Venezuela a major player in the world oil market.
