Namibia's friend and foe countries

The countries with which Namibia is friends and foes may vary, especially in terms of history, politics and economic relations. However, in general, the countries with which Namibia has friendly and good relations are as follows:

1. Republic of South Africa: South Africa, with which Namibia shares its southern border, has historical, cultural and economic ties with Namibia. Relations between the two countries are strong in the fields of international trade, tourism, education and defense.

2. Angola: Bordering the north, Angola has a historical connection with Namibia. Relations between the two countries have been strengthened, especially with their cooperation in the struggle for independence. Economic and commercial relations are also developing.

3. Germany: Namibia remained a German colony between 1884-1915. For this reason, it has historical ties with Germany. Germany provides economic and development aid to Namibia.

4. Botswana: Namibia has good relations with Botswana, with which it shares its eastern border. Trade and tourism between the two countries are developing. Regarding the countries it is hostile to, Namibia does not have any specific enemies. However, it has had some border disputes with Angola in its history and therefore tensions have arisen. Apart from this, Namibia generally has good relations with other neighboring countries.
