Finland's friend and foe countries

Finland is a country with which it generally maintains friendly relations around the world. However, there are also countries with which there have been some hostilities and disagreements throughout history. Friendly Countries:

1. Sweden: Considered Finland's closest friend, Sweden has maintained a strong relationship throughout history. They have close relations both culturally and economically.

2. Norway: There is a friendly relationship between Finland and Norway. Since both countries are Northern European countries, they have similar values.

3. Denmark: There is also a friendly relationship between Finland and Denmark. Both countries have similar values as Northern European countries.

4. Germany: There is also a friendly relationship between Finland and Germany. Economic and cultural ties between the two countries are very strong. Enemy Countries:

1. Soviet Union: Finland, II. It fought with the Soviet Union during World War II and there were conflicts between them. However, later relations normalized and a friendly relationship was maintained.

2. Russia: After the collapse of the Soviet Union, relations with Russia continued, but disagreements occurred from time to time. Especially in the conflicts between Russia and countries such as Ukraine and Georgia, Finland took a stand against Russia.
