Kyrgyzstan's friend and foe countries

Kyrgyzstan has generally friendly relations with many countries. Among these, Central Asian and Turkic republics such as Turkey, Russia, China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan stand out. Turkey is one of the most important friendly countries of Kyrgyzstan. There are historical, cultural and humanitarian ties between the two countries. Turkey provides support to Kyrgyzstan in economic aid, education, health and other areas. Russia has an important role as Kyrgyzstan's largest trading partner and a strategic ally. Russia has a military base in Kyrgyzstan and there are military cooperation agreements between the two countries. China is strengthening its economic and commercial relations with Kyrgyzstan. However, some circles are concerned about China increasing its economic influence on Kyrgyzstan. Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan have close relations with other Turkic republics in Central Asia.
