What are the types of companies in Croatia?

There are various types of companies in Croatia. These are:

1. Limited Company (d.o.o.): The most common type of company and must have at least two founders. The founders' liability is limited and the company's capital must be a certain amount.

2. Joint Stock Company (d.d.): This type of company may have a minimum of one founder and the liability of the founders is limited. The company's capital must be higher.

3. Limited Partnership (k.d.): In this type of company, there must be at least one limited partner and at least one complementary partner. The liability of supplementary partners is unlimited, but the liability of general partners is limited.

4. General Partnership (o.d.): In this type of company, there must be at least two partners and the liability of the partners is unlimited. 5th Person Company (obrt): In this type of company, there is a small business operated by a single person. The liability of the owner of the company is unlimited.

6. Cooperative Company (zadruga): This type of company is established on the basis of cooperation between people who come together to serve a specific purpose. Members' liability is limited. These types of companies are common in Croatia. Each type of company has different legal requirements and benefits, so it's important to check local laws before forming a company.
