Lesotho is a country located on the African continent and its military force is represented by the Royal Lesotho Defense Force (LDF). The Royal Lesotho Defense Force is responsible for carrying out the country's defense and security missions. The LDF is led by the King of Lesotho and has a military hierarchy under the command of the Chief of Staff. The military structure of the LDF consists of three main divisions: Land Forces, Air Forces and Support Forces. The Ground Forces constitute the country's main military force, while the Air Force performs air defense and transport missions. Support Forces perform logistics, communications and other support duties.
