Mali Political parties

Mali is a country located in West Africa and political parties also have an active role in this country. Although there are many political parties in Mali, some are more influential and powerful. Mali's largest political party is known as the People's Progressive Party of Mali (RPM). RPM was a party that was founded in 1990 and was in power for a long time in Mali. Other important political parties in Mali include the Popular Movement for Democracy (MPD), the Democratic Progressive Party of Mali (PDP), the Democratic Socialist Party of Mali (PSDM) and the Party of Rebirth for Mali (PARENA). These political parties have different ideologies and policies. RPM and MPD generally espouse centre-right policies, while PDP and PSDM are more left-leaning. PARENA, on the other hand, advocates centre-left policies. Political parties in Mali often compete in elections and fight for a place in the government.
