Egypt Political parties

There are many political parties in Egypt. Here are some of Egypt's most important political parties:

1. National Democratic Party (NDP): It is the party that was in power in Egypt between 1978 and 2011. However, it was closed after the 2011 Egyptian Revolution.

2. Freedom and Justice Party: The party, known as the political arm of the Muslim Brotherhood, was founded in 2011. However, it fell from power in a military coup in 2013 and was closed.

3. Constitutional Democratic Party of Egypt: A liberal party founded in 1978, the Constitutional Democratic Party of Egypt is one of the oldest political parties in Egypt.

4. Homeland Party: Founded in 1990, the Homeland Party is known as an Islamist party. It was closed in 2014.

5. Al-Wafd Party: Founded in 1919, Al-Wafd Party is one of the oldest political parties in Egypt. He advocates centre-right policies.

6. Socialist People's Republican Party: Founded in 1978, the party adopts socialist ideology. These are just a few examples and there are many more political parties in Egypt. However, due to restrictions on political diversity and freedoms in Egypt in recent years, some parties have been closed or neutralized.
