What are the types of Nauruan Companies?

There are various types of companies on Nauru. These are: 1st Person Company: It is a type of company established by one person and owned by a single person. In sole proprietorship companies, the person assumes all the responsibilities of the company.

2. Limited Liability Company (LLC): In this type of company, partners have limited liability for the company's debts. Partners have liability limited to the capital contribution they make to the company.

3. Joint Stock Company (Ltd.): It is a type of company in which the liability of the partners is limited. In this type of company, equity shares can also be sold publicly.

4. Limited Partnership: In this type of company, there are two types of partners: limited partners and general partners. Although limited partners contribute capital to the company, they have limited liability. Limited partners are only responsible for contributing capital and do not participate in the management of the company.

5. Cooperative: It is a type of company where members work jointly and make decisions together. Cooperatives are established to meet the economic, social and cultural needs of their members.

6. Foreign Company Branch: It is a branch opened by a foreign company to operate in Nauru. The operations of the branch are subject to the policies and guidelines of the parent company.
